This special military educational institution for the training of naval officers was founded by Emperor Peter the Great on 14.01.1701. It accepted the sons of naval officers and nobles, as well as civil officials not lower than the VIII class of the Table of Ranks. The educational institution was located in St. Petersburg.

Silver, enamel, gilding. The sign is typeset, the enamels are whole. On the nut is the nameplate of the master "VD" (Vera Ditwald) - the workshop of the company "Eduard".
