The NSDAP party badge was established to represent membership of the Nazi party. These badges were worn both on service, including military, uniforms, and on civilian dress. The badge was worn on the left breast, usually on the breast pocket or its flap (colloquially it was irreverently called "bull's eye"). If you have an Iron cross of the 1st class, the icon could be either above it or below it (or on the side). Stormtroopers and SS, as well as NSDAP functionaries, often wore a smaller version of the badge on their tie, and often with the usual badge on their pocket. Badges were even awarded when joining the party in pairs: regular and reduced versions.
