The Russian Empire. Medal "In memory of the reign of Emperor Nicholas I". Established on April 30, 1896. The silver medal was awarded to all officers and class ranks who were in active service during the reign of Emperor Nicholas I. A total of 30,000 silver medals were minted at the mint.

On the obverse is a portrait of Nicholas I and the inscription in a circle "Nicholas I Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia".

On the reverse is the inscription "In memory of the Tsar" and "Those who served him by Faith". Dates 1825-1855.

Silver. The diameter is 28,02 mm. The medal was worn on the chest on the connected ribbon of the Orders of St. Nicholas.St. Vladimir and St. Alexander Nevsky.
