Cavalry saber (sashka) for Red Army soldiers and junior commanders of the 1927 model. Stigmata on the heel: ZEKE in a triangle, 1940; on the back GM 15 KG. The blade is in perfect condition, HAS NOT BEEN SHARPENED!!! Two additional nuts are fixed on the scabbard to attach the bayonet to the Mosin rifle of the 1891 model.

Cavalry saber, model (model) 1881/1927. (made according to the model, the so-called Cossack checkers of the sample of 1881) of the Red Army and junior commanders of the Red Army of the USSR. Made in 1940 by Zlatoust Tool Factory ("ZIK").

The saber was in service with privates and junior cavalry commanders from 1927 to 1955. It was worn with a field uniform, since 1932 only when in service.

Total length 950 mm, blade length 810 mm.
