The medal “For the development of the subsoil and the development of the oil and gas complex of Western Siberia” is awarded to active participants in the development of the subsoil and the development of the oil and gas complex of Western Siberia for selfless work on the identification, exploration and development of oil and gas fields, production and industrial processing of oil and gas, construction of industrial and residential and civil facilities, highways, energy supply, transport and other maintenance of oil and gas complex productions, as well as employees of research and design organizations, institutions and organizations of the non-production sphere, party, Soviet, trade union and Komsomol bodies located on the territory of the oil and gas complex, who have contributed to its development with their conscientious work.
The medal is awarded to workers and employees who have worked in the areas of the oil and gas complex of Western Siberia, as a rule, for at least three years.
