Russian Empire. Miniature of a saber with awards from the reign of Emperor Nicholas I.

The suspension belonged to a combat officer, cavalryman, participant in the Patriotic War of 1812 (Napoleonic war), as well as the Russian-Turkish War of 1828-29. The rank of cavalier is not lower than lieutenant colonel. Miniatures of the orders were made according to the canons of the early XIX century.

The total length of the saber is 109mm, the size of the Order of St. George is 15*17mm.
