Russian Empire. The Smith & Wesson revolver was adopted by the Russian army in 1871. Caliber 44 (11 mm.). In Russia, it is known as the 4.2 linear revolver. Made in Germany by order of the Russian government at the arms factory "Ludwig Loewe & Co., Berlin". Perfect external condition. Very rare.
