№122427 Baltic Cross
The Baltic cross, the volunteers participating in liberation of the Baltics from the Bolshevism were awarded, the German volunteers who, at least, within three months took part in fighting against the Red Army in 1918-1919 had the right and carrying the sign. Official rewardings with the Baltic cross were made during the period from 1919 to 1921. During this period 21,839 people were awarded. In 1930-34 Association of the former colleagues according to the Baltic Landesver (Vereinigung ehemaliger Kameraden der Baltischen Landeswehr) made additional rewardings with the Baltic cross of persons which had the right for its receiving, but for some reason so them and not winners.
