Black-and-white photograpfy of the lower ranks of the Russian Empire headed by the gentleman Of St. George.
The photo was taken after the February Revolution of 1917: the medal of the 300th anniversary of the Romanov's house was removed from the block of the St. George cavalier and the St. George medal "For Courage" was turned upside down with an inscription forward. Another recipient of the St. George Medal "For Courage" also has an inscription forward and, accordingly, a portrait of Nicholas II inside. In the center of the photo on the chest is the sign "Local Troops."
