The Russian Empire. Red Cross medal in memory of the Russian-Japanese War of 1904-1905.
It was established on January 19, 1906. The medal was awarded to persons of both sexes who participated in the activities of the Russian Red Cross Society during the Russo-Japanese War, as well as to persons who donated money or belongings to the society during the war. The St. Petersburg Mint did not mint these medals, the medals were made by private companies and workshops according to the orders of the society.
Silver 84 samples, namesake of the master A.P., hot enamel. The diameter is 25 mm. The medal was worn on the chest on the ribbon of the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky.
