DDR. The dagger is ceremonial with the suspension of an officer of the Berlin Security Regiment at the MGB of the GDR. This regiment was part of the STAZI structure to protect senior party leaders and government agencies. On the blade engraving "Wachregiment Berlin Feliks Dzerzinski" as well as the stamp of the Stasi "MFS." On the orate side is the manufacturer's stamp "AMM" in a triangle and serial number 03740.
