Russian Empire. Medal in memory of the Patriotic War of 1812.
On August 30, 1814, a bronze medal was established to reward nobles and merchants. And by decree of February 8, 1816, the medal was allowed to be worn by women, who are the oldest in the noble family, and it was allowed to wear medals of a reduced size. Bronze medals were distributed based on lists. The production of bronze medals continued until 1823. Tirage 64662 (diameter 28 mm for nobles and merchants) and 7606 small 24 mm for women.
Very rare in excellent preservation.
