The Russian Empire. The Western Caucasus. The dagger is a Circassian kama dagger made in the early - mid 19th century. A blade with a long asymmetric (offset) shaft. The handle is made of buffalo horn, decorated with two silver rivets. The scabbard is wooden, glued with dyed leather, decorated with silver overlays with a pattern made in the technique of blackening a vegetable ornament. Excellent preservation and a very beautiful kama dagger.
The total length (without scabbard) is 505 mm. The length of the blade is 375 mm. The blade width is 50mm.
