The Russian Empire. The Western Caucasus. The dagger is a Circassian kama (Kubachinsky) made in the early 19th century. A blade with a ridge in the center on both sides (an extremely rare blade shape). On the right side of the ridge there is a round depression where the master's brand was located. The handle is made of buffalo horn, decorated with three silver rivets with an overlay on the right side. The scabbard is wooden, glued with dyed leather, decorated with silver overlays with a pattern made in the technique of blackening with elements of Kubachin ornament. Excellent preservation and a very beautiful kama dagger.
The total length (without scabbard) is 515 mm. The length of the blade is 378 mm. The blade width is 40mm.
