The Third Reich. The buckle of the enlisted and non-commissioned officers of the waffen SS. The buckle of the sample of 1931. The SS motto is written in a circle on the central disk: "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue" (My honor is loyalty). The motto is a slightly modified expression of Hitler's 1931 "SS man, your honor is called loyalty" (German SS-Mann, deine Ehre heißt Treue).
The buckle stamp corresponds to the manufacturer - OVERHOFF & CIE / O&C Ges. Gesch. Buckle is made of steel, the coating was dark green paint. It's magnetic. The remnants of the coating can be seen on the reverse of the buckle. A very rare buckle without the brand of the manufacturer, the last period of the war.
