The Russian Empire. A soldier's infantry cleaver of the 1848 model. The brand of the manufacturer is Zlatoust Arms Factory, 1916. On the other side of the blade are the artillery acceptance stamps "A" under the crown and "A".

On the crosshair and the mouth of the scabbard is the military brand of the accessories of the S.E.I.V.Z.D.P. - His Imperial Majesty's consolidated railway regiment and the number according to the list 333 (on the scabbard 133).

In 1916, only 1000 pieces of cleavers of the 1848 model were produced in the ZOF.
