Russian Empire. A badge about the end of the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff. Established on June 14, 1866. It is one of the oldest Russian breastplates. It is the State Emblem of the Russian Empire (double-headed eagle), superimposed on a wreath consisting of laurel (left) and oak (right) branches, connected at the bottom with a ribbon.
