№121179 Order Of The Red Cross

Serbia. Kingdom Of Serbia. Order Of The Red Cross. Established in 1876. The order is threefold: a cross, superimposed eagle and the shield with the red cross.
The cross, crown and shield are made of silver and covered with hot enamel with a grillage all over the cross.
On the ring under the ribbon is three brands: one-from the obverse of the order and two-from the reverse.
The order was also awarded to Russian medical volunteers.

Size: 40 x 63 mm. The order is not cleaned, in a strong old patina. The enamel is without chips and scratches. Serbian name: Орден Црвеног крста.
