Russian Empire. Miniature of the sign (cross) of the Order of Saint George of the officer. Award for personal courage (bravery). The sign is made on canons of the middle of the 19th century - the central medallion of pink color. Unknown workshop. Very rare. All Saint George "in bronze" less than one thousand officers of RIA are awarded the order. The order of St. George was restored in the modern Russian award system.
Gilded bronze, enamel, hot enamel. Size 16,8*19,15mm. W 2,4g.
