It was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR dated April 6, 1930. The Order of the Red Star was established to be awarded for great services in the defense of the USSR, both in wartime and in peacetime, and in ensuring state security.

Awarding of the period of the Soviet-Finnish (Winter) War of 1939-40. Cavalier Second Lieutenant Kalin Alexander Andreevich was awarded for fighting with the White Finish on 03/21/1940. He died during the Great Patriotic War on 08/22/1941.

Silver, hot enamel. The enamel is free of chips and flakes. The nut is silver.
