The Russian Empire. Cavalry carbine of the Berdan system No. 2 of the 1870 model. Made in 1880. Caliber 10.67 mm (4.2 lin). A shortened and lightweight cavalry rifle. It differs from the dragoon model by a shortened barrel, the absence of a bayonet and a significant reduction in weight. An extremely rare item in perfect condition.
