USSR. Order of the Badge of Honour. The Order of Honor was established by the Resolution of the CEC of the USSR of November 25, 1935 to award for high achievements in production, research, state, socio-cultural, sports and other socially useful activities, as well as for manifestations of civic valor. The Order of Honor may also be awarded to persons who are not citizens of the USSR, as well as enterprises, institutions, organizations, settlements of foreign countries. The total number of awarded the Order of Honor was approximately 1.580.850.
