In 1915, 5 Latvian rifle battalions and 1 spare rifle battalion were established. On 4 November 1916, Latvian battalions were converted into Latvian rifle regiments, which became part of two Latvian brigades.

Bronze, white metal, hot enamel. Size 47*37mm. The attachment nut is lost.
