The badge is a composite one, in the form of a star of the Order of St. George with an overhead Maltese cross covered with dark red (crimson) enamel. The obverse is engraved in 1912 or 1921. Very rare.

Gold-plated silver, no stamp of sample and master, hot enamel. Beautiful patina. At the two ends of the cross, a crack in the enamel. Size in diameter is 49mm. Weight of 21.8 grams. Pressure plate, screw attachment.
