Russian Empire. Breastplate "50th anniversary of the end of the Caucasian Wars." The sign was the Caucasian cross (covered with black enamel, two crossed swords with anniversary dates at the horizontal ends pass through the middle: "1859 - 1909." To the left and to the right of the upper end of the cross on the blades of swords are the golden monogram of Alexander II and Nicholas II. The imperial crown crowns the cross, in the center of the cross is the golden Roman figure "L" (50). A similar bronze sign without enamel and gold was intended for lower ranks. The sign was worn on the left side of the chest. The sign was awarded to veterans of wars in the Caucasus.
