USSR. Badge "For a Distant Campaign". The order of the Commander-in-chief of the Navy No. 149 of 22.05.1961 approved the badge "For the Distant Campaign" which said that this badge awards the caused most a stir military personnel and employees of the Navy for participation in distant and special campaigns by the fighting ships and support vessels of the Navy.
Rewarding with a badge to be made by the order of Navy Group on granting commanders of the fleet in case the tasks set on a campaign – are executed, there were no emergencies, breakages and accidents because of staff.
The campaign or navigation of the ships granting the right for rewarding with a counter is considered:
- for the Black Sea Fleet – swimming out of borders of the Bosphorus Straits and Dardanelles.
- for the Northern Fleet, swimming out of limits of the Barents Sea
- for the Baltic Fleet, swimming out of borders of the Danish passages
- for the Pacific fleet, swimming outside the Okhotsk and Japanese seas.
