The Russian Empire. Details of the two‑cornered hat (bicorne) of a high‑ranking official (not lower than an admiral) in the naval department, model 1855. A twisted admiral’s button with a uniform naval button attached to a pressed embroidered officer’s cockade.

The oval cockade measures 85*97 mm, and the total length of the buttonhole is 180 mm. The diameter of the gilded twisted metal cord is 6 mm. The uniform button has a diameter of 21 mm.
