Russian Empire. Breastplate (regimental) badge of the lower ranks of the Sveaborg fortress. Approved March 30, 1908.

The sign is a golden wreath of laurel and oak leaves, crowned with an oxidized double-headed eagle under the golden Imperial crown. In the clutches of an eagle is a naval flag and a gyus. In the center of the wreath is a silver shield with the inscription "Sveaborg" and an image of the monument. Under it are two crossed guns, a shovel, an ax, two rifles, lightning bolts and a mine. At the bottom of the sign is a red ribbon with gold dates "1808" and "1908."

Sveaborg (Swedish Sveaborg - "Swedish fortress") or Suomenlinna (Fin. Suomenlinna - "Finnish fortress"), - a bastion system of fortifications on the islands near the capital of Finland, Helsinki. Administratively - a district of the city of Helsinki. From the 18th to the middle of the 20th century, fortifications protected Helsingfors from the sea, from the 1960s. - museum and residential area.
