Russian Empire. Darkly bronze medal "In Memory of the Russian-Turkish War 1877-1878".
It is founded on April 17, 1878 by Alexander II's decree. According to the statute a dark and bronze medal awarded all participants of war who weren't taking part in military operations. 335424 dark and bronze medals were rapped out on a mint of St.-Petersburg.
The medal was worn on the chest on a connected ribbon of the Orders of St. Andrew the First-Called and St. George.
Dark bronze. Diametr 26,5 mm. The ribbon is new made.
