The Russian Empire. Badge for service in the Convoys of the Emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II.
Gold wreath of laurel and oak branches crowned by the gold Imperial crown. Inside the wreath is a gold cross, crossed cyphers of the Emperor Alexander III and Nicholas II, beneath gold Imperial crowns. The branches of the wreath are entwined by gold ribbons tied at the base in a bow with short tails. The ribbons are covered with blue enamel with the date «4 OKТ. 1894» (4 OCT. 1894) and gold inscription «ЗА СЛУЖБУ ВЪ НАШЕМЪ КОНВОЪ» (FOR SERVICE IN OUR ESCORT).
A magnificent rare sign!
The sign is typed , multi-level. Gold-plated silver without sample, vitreous hot enamel. Screw mount. On the nut, the master's nameplate is "В.Б". Size 57*36mm. The sign was subjected to inept repairs (soldering on the reverse).
