Russian Empire. The peak of the light cavalry of the 1851 model is piercing edged weapons, a type of long spear, adopted by the Russian Empire in 1851. Pika was used in Cossack, Uhlan and hussar regiments. Blows were usually delivered in the groin (front) or in the lower back (back). The total length is 285 cm, the combat tip is steel, triangular in section. Length with tube 80 cm, combat tip 14 cm. The diameter of the shaft goes from the tip to the thickening from 24 mm to 34 mm in the central part, and up to 31 mm in the shank at the tip. The shaft is painted black.
