The Russian Empire. Medal in memory of the Russian-Japanese War of 1904-1905. Established on January 21, 1906. In the center is the "all-seeing eye", surrounded by radiance and the dates "1904-1905", on the reverse is the inscription "may the God exalt you in due time".
The silver medal was awarded to all persons who were in Port Arthur and its fortified area during the defense ( from May 12 to December 20, 1904).
Silver. The diameter of the medal is 28.12 mm. The medal is suspended from the original double pad, the ribbons of the United Orders of St. John the Baptist.St. George and St. Alexander Nevsky, also original. The first award was apparently ZOVO, although on the ribbon of connected colors (missing). Native collection.
