Russian Empire. Regimental badge of the Life-Guards Preobrazhensky Regiment. Officially approved on the 25th of June, 1909. Badge is St.Andrews cross completed with the gold Imperial crown on the top. Between the lateral and bottom cross ends there are three Russian double-headed eagles. In the center of the cross there is depiction of crucifed St.Andrew "First-called" Apostle. On the reverse side there is inscription "For the faith and faithfulness".
